This is a great introduction to the LGBTQIA+ identities and terminology for those who may not understand much about the community. Excellent practical tips about mirroring/affirming as well. Well done!! Sharing!!

Thank you, Max, for a very informative presentation. Mirror language back to the person and don't make assumptions are two guiding principles we all need to follow.

Excellent explanation of the concepts of and difference among gender, gender expression, and sex. I also loved every time Max said "its really cool because..." - so great! Nicely done Max and One Iowa!

Thank you, Max. You helped me understand why my daughter wants me to refer to her sexual orientation as queer rather than Lesbian.

I know a thing or two about LGBTQ+ due to my family members. I have to say I love the way this is presented, and would gladly share this with anyone wanting to learn about this for the first time. Thank you. <3

Thanks Max for a great presentation!! I have a butch hair cut and get called sir all the time, or I have cancer or I'm "gay", Which I'm and none of them. But I just go with it and then when they realize that I am a women they are dumbfounded and don't know what to say.

Max- Your message was so helpful. I understand much more than I did. Actually, you helped me understand and see the need for equity when with other Iowans. I look forward to continuing to learn more about a person’s gender-expression. After listening I wonder if many people are gender-fluid to begin with as they discover themselves. All normal development so we need to keep moving forward and increasing understanding.
